Hands down the best semi-casual Korean I’ve had in NYC. Love the rose tteobokki. Love the cold noodles. Love the japchae. All just amazing. We went on a Sunday at 630pm and got a table for 3 right away, but it was busy. Prices are super fair. Unlimited kimchi for the table.

We came in and were seated immediately and served water. We ordered the Jumeok Bab for an appetizer. We ordered the bulgogi and rice. We also got the Galbi Jim. The rice ball felt like you could use it as a replacement meal. Extremely good deep down flavor and you can taste the freshness of all the ingredients. The bulgogi, I ate it all and didn't want to. It just kept getting better and better. Best I've tasted in 2026 thus far. The Galbi was cooked perfectly and tender. I must say that the service was exceptional. Very attentive and present. Perfect for what I expected. Top tier service.

Absolutely loved my lunch here! I ordered the Yeolmu Bibimbap with the Lunch Combo, choosing LA Galbi and Spicy Tofu Soup, and everything was delicious. The bibimbap was fresh and flavorful with crunchy young radish kimchi, the LA Galbi was tender and perfectly grilled, and the tofu soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Korean food!

We’re big fans of Tosukchon in Virginia, so when we heard about this place, we had to give it a try. We’ve stopped by several times, usually late at night or after a few drinks, and we always order the assorted soondae. It’s consistently good and definitely satisfies our cravings, although we still think the one in Virginia is a little better. The staff are always friendly, and the food comes out quickly. It can get pretty busy at times, but they have an iPad at the front where you can easily add your name to the waitlist. Overall, it’s a great spot to visit when you’re craving soondae, especially if you’re looking for a late-night meal.

Fantastic authentic Korean comfort food spot in NYC! Their spicy braised pork pan was glossy, well-marinated and packed with deep umami flavor, paired flawlessly with chewy japchae. The short rib stew hits all the right warm, comforting notes, and compact seaweed rice bites make for an addictive appetizer. Reasonable portion sizes and warm dining vibe—ideal for casual group dinners, highly recommend for anyone craving traditional Korean home cooking!
